Terms of Service

By accessing or using the ResolvDNS API or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ResolvDNS provides programmatic access to publicly available domain intelligence data including WHOIS records, DNS records, SSL certificate information, and RDAP data. All data returned by the API is sourced from public registries and resolvers.

You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• Use the Service to harass, stalk, or target individuals
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
• Resell or redistribute raw API responses without transformation
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service infrastructure

API keys are issued per user and must not be shared. Each tier carries a daily request limit. Exceeding your limit will result in requests being rejected until the limit resets at midnight UTC. We reserve the right to revoke keys that abuse the Service.

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which your key reverts to the Free tier. No refunds are issued for partial months.

All data returned by the Service is sourced from public third-party registries. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data. Cached results may be up to one hour old. Do not rely solely on this data for critical decisions.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResolvDNS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any conduct we deem harmful to the Service or its users. In the case of termination for cause, no refund will be issued.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when the Terms were last revised.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
